Theology of Neurology

A major theme that arose during Pastor Griffin’s Christian Way of Life study is the concept of wheel-tracks of Righteousness from Hebrews 12:13 (Keep on making straight wheel-tracks with your feet…). Central to that theme is our volition.

A deeper study of our volition led to an enlightening study of the crossroad between Theology and human neurology.

In this study of neurology, the human mind has free will which can make instant decisions, but the overall vision, lifestyle, or way of life associated with every person's soul is constructed not from one decision, but a long series of decisions interlaced over a long period of time.

We will learn in our study about how the human brain accumulates an inventory of ideas by virtue of what is learned and every piece of knowledge which is programmed into the brain has its own unique structure and comes together as a part of our neural network that is the basis for how we decide – what we do, think and say.

The study consists of an introduction to the topic in classes CWL-236 through 239, and then moves directly into the formal study, The Theology of Neurology, in classes CWL-240 through CWL-258.
